All I Can Do Today Is Pray

All I can do today is pray.
Friends are going through a difficult time.
A REALLY difficult time.
But my prayers today, as they so often are, are more outward than upward.
Reaching out across the miles.
Seeking them out wherever they are.
And, in some unseen way linking that which is within me to give…
My strength;
My support;
My concern;
My heartbreak;
My hope;
With their lives and the moment which they have right now.
Others, I know, are doing the very same thing.

All I can do today is pray.
