April 28, 2022 at 9:23 pmI can not seem to get back to normal of late. I feel like life is only full of upsetting events. I am best when I meditate, but even so I feel so worn out and sad–I’m having difficulty shaking it. I need a lot of things but am not exactly sure what would bring life to a semi calm state again. May 1, 2022 at 1:18 pmHi Nancy, your reflection made me stop and think because what you put into words is so much of what I, too, am feeling. As I thought about it I began to wonder if how you/we are feeling is exactly the way we are supposed to be feeling right now. We are unsettled because we care…deeply. If we didn’t care it wouldn’t matter and we both know/believe it does matter. Maybe in that way it is a little like grief. We grieve deeply because we love deeply. Maybe our meditation/walks/prayers are not meant to remove what we are feeling but to remind us of why we feel the way we do and to reconnect us with that which, in the end, I believe will lead to something more.
